Examples of the specific areas in which we have worked previously include new active pharmaceutical compounds, pharmaceutical formulations, drug inhalers, pharmaceutical capsules, stents, catalysts and catalyst supports, injection moulding, liquid pumps, containers and window coverings.

Most IP firms have experience of filing and prosecuting patent applications and this applies equally to us. However, relatively few firms have the experience that we have of original drafting of patent applications and of dealing with post grant issues, such as European oppositions.

We are very experienced in drafting patent specifications in the pharmaceutical, chemical and mechanical fields. In addition, we have significant experience of European opposition and appeal proceedings.

We feel that the experience we have gained by prosecuting cases that were originally drafted by us, as well as opposing and defending patents during opposition proceedings has taught us how to draft patent specifications which better resist challenges, both from national patent offices and third parties. Furthermore, this broad range of experience assists us when prosecuting difficult cases through to grant.
